Data Deletion Instructions

KarmaIQ lets a studio connect its Facebook Page and linked Instagram professional account so it can publish posts from KarmaIQ. When you connect, we store the Page ID and name, the Instagram account ID and username, and the access token Meta issues for that Page. We do not store your Facebook password.

Option 1: Disconnect from KarmaIQ

  1. Sign in to KarmaIQ at app.karmasoft.io.
  2. Go to Settings, then Integrations.
  3. On the Facebook / Instagram card, click Disconnect.

Disconnecting removes the stored Page ID, Page name, Page access token, Instagram account ID and Instagram username from our systems.

Option 2: Remove the app from Facebook

  1. In Facebook, open Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations.
  2. Find the Karmasoft app and click Remove.
  3. Choose to delete posts, photos and videos the app published on your behalf if you want them removed from Facebook.

This revokes the app's access on Meta's side immediately. Posts already published to your Page or Instagram account remain there unless you delete them on Facebook or Instagram.

Option 3: Ask us to delete your data

Email roody@karmasoft.io with the subject “Data deletion request” and the name of your studio and the email address you use to sign in. We will confirm the request and delete the Facebook and Instagram data described above within 30 days.
